Workshops (1-2 Weeks)
The workshop program is a great opportunity to get familiarized with all pedagogical aspects of the school in a short time period.
Each workshop is structured in three sections: movement sessions, improvisation and performative principles.
Intensive Modules (3-4 Weeks)
The intensive modules focus around particular themes and styles and offer the possibility to explore in a deeper and more thorough manner different aspects of each performative territory as well as the opportunity to engage in collaborative creation.
Each module is structured in thematic weeks that can be taken as individual one- week workshops. Students can choose the amount of workshops they wish to attend.
Note: All the thematic workshops offered in each module are sequentially organized in order to offer students wishing to take part of the whole module a thorough and solid exploration of the given theme. We strongly recommend taking part of the entire module if possible.
Each module is structured in six sections: movement training, improvisation, composition/construction, creation laboratory and Performative Research/Performance Praxis.
At the end of each module, there will be an open presentation where all participants are invited to share their creative work (optional participation for those who wish to present).
Performance Praxis
Performance praxis is a component that aims to open a space for critical reflection through a cross-disciplinary approach (discussions, movement laboratories, film discussions and site specific devising projects).
A thorough exploration of old and new artistic trends and practices provides all students a solid foundation in the world of performing arts from an array of perspectives (historical, socio-political aesthetical, philosophical).
