The Art of Collaboration – WORKSHOP

A theatre laboratory aimed at theatre makers with an interest in contemporary Theatre and collaborative creation. Made for artists that wish to train scenic presence and playfulness. We will work from the singularity of each participant in order to create a collaborative piece.
We will use ensemble dynamics, physical theatre skills and devised theatre exercises in order to create a piece that gathers the artistic languages proposed by all participants.
The ensemble: participants will get to know each other through participatory dynamics and improvisation games.
We will work on action-reaction principles, physical expression and voice work.
Devising: We will create teams and give instructions on how to create an artistic piece. Participants will be able to use objects and costumes, music, and other technical requirements.
Objectives:
● To provide participants with tools for artistic creation.
● To work with multiple artistic languages.
● To make a conscious process of learning.
● To share a methodology of collaborative creation.
● To share Devised theatre dynamics to improve the autonomy of the participants in collaborative and individual theatre making
The workshop takes place at: DOCK 11 – Kastanienallee 79 – Berlin.
– 2 days of work.
– 5 hours per day. (breaks included)
